Killaloe Hotel in Clare have a fantastic New Vacancy for a Assistant Food & Beverage Manager with specific responsibility for overseeing key functions in the hotel.

This may suit a candidate that has been a F&B supervisor for several years and is looking to progress to the next step of their career.

Objective of the Role: Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will oversee the running of key functions in the hotel, as well as doing duty manager shifts.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the food and beverage department on a day to day basis.
• Ensure quality and standards are met consistently.
• Anticipate guest needs, and proactively manage their expectations.
• Ensure delivery of exceptional guest service from each department.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
• Have full knowledge of the hotel and all departments.
• Ordering & stock control
• Training & developing a team

Requirements:

• Extensive F&B knowledge
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of cash management and accounting procedures.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Hands on approach, with can do attitude
• Availability to work in shifts including weekends and late evenings
• Can lead and motivate a team to get the best for all
• Highly motivated and have great management & communication skills
• Have a passion for their role within the Hotel
• Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike
• Be capable of excellent upselling in all areas of the Hotel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €34,000.00 per year
