Assistant Golfing Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Golf Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the golf course, including managing tee time bookings and coordinating golf events.
  • Support the planning and execution of golf tournaments, member activities, and other golf-related events, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Provide administrative support, including maintaining records, reports, and member communications related to golf operations.
  • Aid in the procurement process for golf-related equipment, supplies, and services, ensuring alignment with the club’s budget and operational goals.
  • Coordinate vendor communications, assist with tender administration, and ensure timely delivery of required goods and services.
  • Organize and manage internal meetings for the golf team, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Prepare management reports, event proposals, and tender-related documents, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all communications.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to members, addressing inquiries or concerns related to golf operations promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., marketing, events, operations) to align golf-related activities with overall club initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics such as tee time usage, revenue, and customer satisfaction, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices to maintain high operational and safety standards on the course.
  • Be adaptable and proactive in addressing changing needs, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the golf course.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Golf Management or similar is preferred.
  • R&A Level 1 Certification is required.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Prior experience in golf operations or management is preferred.
  • Passion for golf and a strong commitment to delivering an exceptional experience to members.
  • Work weekends as part of the regular schedule.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,000.00 per month
