Resort Fort Royal is a premier destination offering luxury accommodations and exceptional service located on the Caribbean paradise island Guadeloupe. The Assistant Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all Hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, concept fulfilling and team management for a 215-room property.

This role requires a dynamic leader with excellent organizational skills, guest service expertise, and the ability to maintain smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all daily operation in the hotel
• Regular follow up and analyse F&B sales and revenues
• Assist and follow up team hands-on in daily operation
• Report all maintenance issues on the hotel.
• Make sure all orders from the suppliers are made through Epos-system. Control orders are proper reconciled in Epos-system.
• Fulfil central KPI´s such as sales target, quality control, guest satisfaction and staff cost.
• Make sure all security matters regarding fire training, evacuation doors etc. are according to standards

Qualifications:

• Degree in Hospitality Management.
• Minimum of 10 years in the hospitality industry, with 3-5 years in a management role such as Front Office Manager, Operational Manager, or F&B Manager, preferably in a hotel with over 200 rooms.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in French is an asset. Additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
