We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager who wishes to be part of a high performing team.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least two years’ experience in this type of role in a similar kitchen/restaurant, with strong proven experience of operations and customer service.
- LCQ and Manager’s certification.
- Self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail.
- Hardworking, reliable, honest.
- Able to bartend, and run a bar, experience designing cocktails.
- Excellent planning abilities, self-managing, multi-tasking and prioritising effectively.
- Committed to safe work practices.
- Proven understanding of food safety requirements and alcohol laws.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Help oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, as well as serving customers on the floor and behind the bar.
- Manage inventory and ordering.
- Lead and motivate a small team of staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage budgets and track financial performance.
- Manage the booking system, address customer inquiries and complaints effectively.
- Work with the kitchen staff to ensure menu development, with specific responsibility for the drink’s menu.
Benefits
- Full time, minimum 35 hours per week, Wednesday – Sunday inclusive.
- Permanent, long-term role.
- Pay range $28-$30 per hour to suit experience.
