Assistant Manager, Scm, Planning & Order Management, Polyurethanes (1-Year Renewable Contract)

Objective

  • Regional Material Management/ Finished Goods (FG) coordinator to support business in Asia Pacific. To ensure efficient and smooth operations and inventory management for nine system houses, oversee demand and supply at regional level. Manage constraint planning (due to capacity, raw materials etc), shift the product from one site to another site for production (if any) to improve supply ability to meet customer demand.
  • Strengthen and support the business unit to achieve Supply Chain (SC) performance KPIs and manage supply chain process in planning, sourcing, production, delivering at the most efficient way.


Responsibilities


Regional Material Management/FG Coordinator

  • Regional FG coordinator for Polyurethanes System Houses and local sales company including cross business unit, cross region demands and supply. Coordinate regional material movements and resolve planning and operational issues
  • Coordinate production schedule to ensure meeting customer’s requirement and attend to all enquiries related to FG SC matters including distribution and logistics cost.
  • Weekly review on material availability, shipment schedule to meet the distribution/ allocation plan and customer (Request Estimate Time of Arrival).
  • Monitor production/product availability, shipment space and manage constraint planning/exception situations (due to capacity, raw materials, vessel space etc), material re-deployment, orders priorities to improve supply capability to meet customer demand at most competitive cost.
  • Product list and lead-time table update for Polyurethanes values chain.
  • Monthly review countries Merchandise planning
  • Data preparation for monthly supply review meeting.
  • Consolidate and review demand forecast, as single contact for Toller.
  • Review demand forecast against business Top Down, identify the gap with improvement proposal.
  • Identified and develop relevant process flow for simplification and standardization.
  • Weekly dedicated tank monitoring


SCM KPI Analysist including Inventory management and Health of Inventory (HOI)/Aged stock

  • Monitor and analyze SCM KPI and propose for improvement.
  • Manage inventory KPI, review the inventory status on regular basis
  • Initiate and lead stock optimization actions includes redeployment, sell-off, write-off
  • Implement and monitor distribution network program
  • Provide required input for inventory analysis (Day 5 Inventory analysis) and target setting.


Aged stock/ HOI Management

  • Ensure HOI report update timely for analysis use on multiple monthly meeting including Top 10 (FG), Top 5 (raw material) and critical aged stocks for escalation
  • Leading the aged stock discussion during monthly supply review meeting
  • Manage age stock KPI, review and propose decision include deployment, sell-off or write off if any


Regional Non-Conformance Management (NCM) Logistics Coordinator

  • As an investigator/ coordinator for logistics complaints and ensure non-conformance investigation closure within timeline.
  • Manage return process and settlement due to NCM including communication and decision making manage/ settlement activities to the customers.
  • Analyse monthly NCM root cause with proposed improvement actions


Logistics Cost and Annual Tender Coordinator

  • Regional coordinator for annual tender data collection, special requirement, analyse tender data.
  • Monthly utlization monitoring, review and timely escalation for gap.
  • Maintain logistics cost database including spot rate, local handling etc.
  • Review and optimize dedicated tank requirement and cost with weekly dedicated tank monitoring
  • Support ad-hoc and spot requirement related to logistics topic.
  • Timely prepare slides and update logistics related topic


Others

  • Support process harmonization/standardization across all countries in Asia Pacific
  • Support in operational/long term planning and process
  • Actively participate in monthly Supply Review and Pre-S&OP meeting including data/slides preparation.
  • Responsible for new vendor creation, purchasing info record and work with service platform for maintenance etc
  • Involved in new investment/feasibility study and analysis, develop distribution concept with raw material supply plan, logistics cost analysis and establish other supporting knowledge for development.
  • Backup role for others regional planner.
  • Any Project /Task assigned to him/ her.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, or Supply Chain & Logistic.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • Proficiency in SAP is a must.
  • Knowledge in ERP systems, MS office, Power BI and deep knowledge of international business trading is an added advantage.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with global counterparts i.e. Asia, Europe, US as well as other regions and business units to assure effective operations throughout the supply chain management.
  • Strong analytical skills
