World Ice Arena, an ice skating rink located in Queens, NY, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter with leadership skills to handle the daily office activities of a busy customer-driven recreational facility.

The Candidate’s primary responsibility will be to learn and maintain the rink’s online payment and registration management system, doing updates as needed for all rink programming and activities. The Candidate will also learn website fundamentals in order to handle all updates and programming changes; and develop and maintain all office and non-office personnel work schedules.

The Office Manager Candidate will oversee the office staff and render guidance as needed to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety.

The Candidate is also expected to maintain good relationships with customers. He or she will assist customers with all activity in the facility; resolve customer queries and advise them on their purchases; and build relationships to encourage future sales.

The Office Manager position requires creativity, patience, communication and interpersonal skills and an attention to detail. Prior ice rink experience is preferred but not required.
