Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and capable Assistant Production Supervisor with 3–5 years of relevant experience to support the setup and ongoing operations of our new manufacturing facility near Hosur. This is a hands-on mid-level role ideal for someone with experience in logistics, warehouse setup, assembly operations, and quality control. The ideal candidate is self-driven, resourceful, and capable of managing day-to-day operations across multiple manufacturing functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Warehouse & Logistics Setup: Lead or support the setup of warehouse operations, including layout planning, material flow, inventory control and recruiting warehouse staff.
  • Assembly Operations: Oversee and participate in assembly processes including filter housing, UF system assembly, hydro-numeric tools, and related components.
  • Production Support: Assist in organizing and managing assembly lines to ensure timely and quality production.
  • Quality & QA/QC: Conduct or supervise bladder-in-tank testing, quality checks, and implementation of quality assurance standards.
  • Process Execution: Work closely with the Plant Manager/Logistics Manager to implement SOPs, streamline workflows, and meet production targets.
  • Hands-On Contribution: Be ready to roll up sleeves and participate directly in tasks where needed, especially in early stages of the plant setup.
  • Collaboration: Work across departments (production, quality, logistics) to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and 5S workplace practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, particularly in assembly, warehouse/logistics setup, and quality control.
  • Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/production/industrial engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Industry Exposure: Experience in water treatment equipment, injection molding, metal forming, or similar industries is a plus.

  • Skills:
    • Good understanding of manufacturing workflows and quality standards
    • Ability to manage priorities in a startup or developing factory environment
    • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
    • Working knowledge of manufacturing tools and MS Office
  • Mobility: Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel internationally for training and as per business need.
