Assistant Qa - Building Envelope Systems

Reporting To: Quality Manager

Location: Greater Frankfurt Area, Germany

Crown is Europe's leading specialist roofing, cladding and façade contractor. We deliver high-quality building envelope solutions across Ireland, the UK and Europe for some of the world's most advanced data centre, pharmaceutical, healthcare, commercial and industrial projects.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Assistant QA to join our team and support the successful delivery of projects across Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop a career in Quality Assurance within a fast-paced construction environment.

• Support the implementation of project quality plans and procedures.
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure works are completed in accordance with specifications and approved drawings.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of quality documentation, inspection records and reports.
• Support the management of non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Work closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients to maintain quality standards across all phases of the project.
• Assist with internal and external audits and project handovers.
• Promote a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement on site.

• Degree, diploma or trade qualification in Construction, Engineering, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1+ years' experience in a construction, QA/QC, engineering or site supervision role is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Experience within roofing, cladding or façade systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Willingness to work within a project-based environment and travel as required.
• Fluent English is essential.
