The Opportunity

M.J. Bale is looking for a polished, commercially driven Assistant Store Business Manager to help lead our Greenwood Plaza store.

Our customers expect expertise, efficiency and personalised service. Working alongside the Store Business Manager, you will lead from the shop floor, develop the team and build lasting relationships with North Sydney’s professional clientele.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Store Business Manager to achieve sales targets.
• Lead key trading periods and maintain strong commercial focus.
• Deliver expert styling across suiting, businesswear and casual collections.
• Build a personal client base and generate repeat business.
• Coach the team in product knowledge, selling and customer service.
• Monitor results and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Support rostering, stock management and store operations.
• Maintain premium presentation and visual merchandising standards.
• Confidently lead the store when the Store Business Manager is unavailable.

Skills and Experiences:

• Retail leadership, supervisory or high-performing senior sales experience.
• A proven ability to achieve sales targets.
• Strong clienteling and relationship-building skills.
• A passion for premium menswear, tailoring and personal style.
• Confidence coaching and motivating others.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and organisation.
• Flexibility to work across the required retail roster.

Experience in premium fashion, menswear or luxury retail is highly regarded, but strong leadership potential and a genuine commitment to exceptional service are equally important.
