About the Role

We’re looking for an Assistant Underwriter to join our energetic Sydney Underwriting team on a 12-month contract. This role will assist with the day to day underwriting processes of our SME portfolio.

This role will see responsibility for:

Servicing a renewal portfolio of accounts for Financial Lines and Accident & Health classes of insurance
Reviewing new business referrals through the DUAL Web Rater (client platform)
Develop and maintain broker (client) relationships
Responding to general broker queries for SME business

About You

As a strong communicator with a passion for customer service you will be confident in providing quality service to DUAL’s clients in a timely manner. With a background in insurance or administration or a proven track record of great customer service along with a great telephone manner you will also demonstrate a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
