The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at UNC Asheville will assist the Head Coach in leading a competitive NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball program that aligns with the athletic department strategic plan. The ideal candidate will exhibit character traits of integrity, servant-leadership, work ethic, creativity, and respect for others, and will be passionate about working in college athletics and developing students into Champions and Leaders in the classroom, in the community, and on the court with our current resources. This position is responsible for assisting the head coach in the management and administration of all phases of an intercollegiate sports program in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Athletics and the University.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Previous collegiate coaching experience.
- Experience as a Division I student-athlete.
