Qualifications:

- B.Com, M.Com, Inter CA, or CA- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent accounting skills, with expertise in bookkeeping and compliance processes in the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Prepare Canadian corporate income tax returns (T2) including schedules, carry forwards, and adjustments.

2) Prepare US corporate income tax returns (1120) and partnership returns (1065), including state filings.

3) Assist in preparing specialized filings such as T1134, T106, NR4, W-8BEN-E, Form 5471, and other cross-border forms.

4) Prepare provincial/state tax returns and ensure compliance with local jurisdictions.

5) Assist in preparing tax provisions for financial statements Gather and analyze client information for accurate return preparation.

6) Maintain organized working papers and documentation for review.

7) Adapt to extended working hours during tax season (January to June).

8) Complete any other duties as assigned by the management.
