Associate Data Analytics Consultant, A2c
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • 3+ years of Data Analytics platform implementation experience.
  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment. Leadership and innovation around Data Analytics
  • Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).
  • Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we’re hiring highly technical cloud architects to collaborate with our customers and partners on key engagements. Our consultants will develop and deliver proof-of-concept projects, technical workshops, and support implementation projects. These professional services engagements involve emerging technologies like AI/ML, IoT, and Data Analytics. This role will specifically focus on helping our customers and partners to remove the constraints that prevent them from leveraging their data.

You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Associate to Consultant (A2C) global practice, which focuses on the incubation of early career professionals.

Our team members work with enterprise customers locally, regionally, domestically, and internationally. As such, this role has up to 100% travel associated. This role will be expected to work from customer sites throughout Korea.

Key job responsibilities
  • Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Data Pipeline, S3, DynamoDB NoSQL, Relational Database Service (RDS), Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) and Amazon Redshift.
  • Deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers. This includes participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, creating consulting proposals and creating packaged Data service offerings.
  • Work with AWS engineering and support teams to convey partner and customer needs and feedback as input to technology roadmaps. Share real world implementation challenges and recommend new capabilities that would simplify adoption and drive greater value from use of AWS cloud services.
  • Cloud computing is reducing the historical “IT constraint” on businesses. Imagine bold possibilities and work with our clients and partners to find innovative new ways to satisfy business needs through Data / Business Intelligence cloud computing.
A day in the life
This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services as needed.

  • Implementation experience with AWS services
  • Hands on experience leading large-scale global data warehousing and analytics projects.
  • Experience using some of the following: Apache Spark/Hadoop ,Flume, Kinesis, Kafka, Oozie, Hue, Zookeeper, Ranger, Elasticsearch, Avro, Hive, Pig, Impala, Spark SQL, Presto, PostgreSQL, Amazon EMR,Amazon Redshift .
