Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
We currently have an excellent opportunity to gain great institutional experience in assisting the management of clients across a broad range of sectors via several varied and interesting funding structures, and working with colleagues to provide products including FX, interest rate hedging, debt capital markets, and transactional.
What are key responsibilities the person in this role will complete?
- Actively engaging with clients including attending client visits, participating in discussions, and taking ownership to resolve client requests / problems.
- Leading transactions from initial rating working, pricing submissions, preparation of detailed credit submissions which include high quality financial and risk analysis, through to review and execution of legal documentation.
- Managing the workflow of the portfolio, overseeing task allocation, and dealing with client requests.
- Contributing to the leadership of the wider team, particularly training and development of other members of the team.

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?
As a senior member within the team, you will have significant responsibility and regular contact with clients and colleagues, particularly product partners to provide a wide range of products and services to a diverse set of clients.
What attributes will this person display to be successful in this role?
We are looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, great attitude and who is self-motivated. Excellent time management skills are a must to manage and prioritise the portfolio workflow, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills.
To set you up for success, you will also have strong analytical and relationship management skills and experience, gained within Financial Services (ideally Institutional and/or Corporate Banking).
