  • Employment Type: Ongoing (commencement January 2026)
  • Classification / Grade / Band: Clerk Grade 11/12
  • Location: Gadigal country (52 Martin Place, Sydney) with flexible working options
  • Remuneration: $149,739.00 - $173,174.00; plus Superannuation and Leave Loading

Role impact and contribution

The Associate Director, Reconciliation is responsible for coordinating the development, delivery and evaluation of Treasury’s Reconciliation Action Plan. This includes influencing and enabling meaningful reconciliation action by people leaders and teams across the department, guiding organisational transformation, evaluating impact and communicating success and lessons learned.

The role also contributes learnings and insights to parallel work for NSW Treasury’s Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging agenda.

You will be joining the Reconciliation Team within the Office of the Secretary and Ministerial Services.

Achieve success as Associate Director, Reconciliation

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Understanding of First Nations cultures and histories and commitment to cultural safety.
  • Experience working effectively with First Nations colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in change management and organisational transformation.
  • Demonstrated research, analytical, strategic thinking and project management skills.
  • Understanding of Closing the Gap priorities and previous experience in reconciliation related work.
  • Commitment to Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging.
