The project: This is a generational project providing Dublin and Ireland with a much-needed world class Metro system to support the fast-growing population. The project is an 18.8km fully autonomous Metro system, consisting of 16 stations, 2 significant tunnelled sections and a number of significant structures along the alignment. The project will integrate existing transportation systems through the city and surrounding areas, including the Dublin airport, Irish Rail and the LUAS

  • You will collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, up to C-Suite, to implement and manage our programmes.

You’ll need to have:

  • 10+ years heavy civils experience including stations, shafts and complex urban locations.
  • 5+ years Temporary Works Coordinator experience on major scope equivalent to metro link.
  • Demonstrable experience of issuing permits and certificates etc.
  • Experience of applying BS 5975, or equivalent code.
  • Experience of leading temporary works designs teams.
  • Experience of leading interaction between permanent and temporary works teams interfaces.
  • Experience of leading cross-project initiatives.
  • Experience of operating within an Engineering environment.
  • Able to champion temporary works in multiple project forums.
  • Able to draft contract scope for temporary works.

You’ll also have:

  • Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the Rail sector.
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Directing and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
