JOB DESCRIPTION:

Entry level position; collect, evaluate, write, and submit data and reports for regulatory bodies. Assist with data gathering and analysis for legal purposes. Coordinate document requests, procedure changes, and other quality projects. Audit and monitor data, systems, and processes for compliance to policies and laws.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)


  • Establish and maintain functionality of VWR International Commodity database known as the IDB-(International Database) for compliant trade related content.
  • Works with VWR departments, suppliers, and Governmental websites to obtain data elements as needed.
  • Send updates to IDB daily.
  • Data is provided by Regulatory dept staff.
  • Send updates to end users (internal and Customs Brokers) weekly.
  • Perform data manipulations, updates, and research, to generate reports to allow VWR to meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with yearly NAFTA Certificate of Origin update project by pulling historical sales data and identifying vendors and vendor groupings in ESS database. Maintain Access database detailing progress of the project, and upload of validated vendor parts into ESS, and the NAFTA database.
  • Do import/export project work as required. These include, but are not limited.
    Provide core reference information as requested for use in EU Regulatory Affairs development of PIMS (Product Information Management System).
  • Queries of existing data in the IDB and related databases as required by Import/Export Management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)


  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Life Science
  • Experience: 0 – 1 years of experience


KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Strong problem solver
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines through use of effective time management
