Associate Homologation Engineer & Technical Writer

We’re looking for a graduate engineer to:
  • support compliance whitelisting activities, and
  • be the custodian of a standards & regulatory database of regulations, grid codes and standards for EMC, safety, grid connection, cybersecurity etc.
Knowledge, skills & attributes required:
Able to communicate at a high level in English, both verbally and in writing.
Organised and systematic.
Understand what document metadata is.
Collaborate and demonstrate integrity.
Work independently and engage as required to not put compliance activities at risk.
Advantageous:
  • additional language proficiency other than English
  • database (SQL) or Python coding knowledge.

Software & technology that will be used: MS Office, SharePoint, Jira, JAMA.


Tasks:
Data management:
  • Conduct research on latest standards published and capture information.
  • Arrange content reviews to advise the business on regulatory updates.
  • Correctly handle certification documents and capture document metadata.
  • Track tasks and provide accurate status updates.
  • Gain knowledge on Enphase’s products through datasheets, installation guides, test reports, wiring diagrams etc.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize workflow and eliminate redundancy.
Technical writing & document handling:
  • Identify evidence of compliance to standards and grid code requirements.
  • Correctly handle confidential information.
  • Identify when a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) is required; engage with legal counsel as required to facilitate setting an NDA in place.
  • Maintain and expand Compliance JAMA Library of standards and requirements.
  • Capture country and product requirements.
  • Produce Test Report Forms (TRFs).
  • Establish/map relationships between requirements, test cases and test results.
Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders:
  • Engage with compliance engineers and cross-functional teams, e.g. program management, product line management, legal counsel, regulators, and third-party accredited laboratories.
  • Answer questions from whitelisting agencies/regulators by identifying/extracting and referencing the correct information in test reports & documentation.
