Lead cross-functional change programs using analytics to prioritize work, implement fixes, and demonstrate impact across MO/Ops/Tech/Risk/Compliance.
As an Associate in MOPT Reference Data Solutions, you will implement & industrialize business-promoten decision making at scale and work on complex reference data and business analysis projects with an exposure to multiple products and trade flows to make significant contribution towards various Strategic Transformation Programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Work towards various initiatives including but not limited to platform modernization, system integration, decommission legacy systems, migration, etc.
- Establish target‑state reference data models (instruments, accounts, SSIs), lineage & golden‑source mapping
- Design and implement data quality controls (DQ rules, thresholds, monitoring, alerting) & exception‑management workflows
- End to end project management & governance: Planning, RAID tracking, produce executive dashboards & communicate on risks, decisions & milestones
- Translate business needs into requirements/user stories; partner in design discussions, perform UAT, release planning, and change adoption
- Execute remediation campaigns and backfills; migrate to golden sources and decommission tactical workarounds
Support business-driven initiatives such as new business onboarding, industry-level changes, platform migration or upgrades, and operations-driven initiatives
Maintain and build excellent relationships across different teams mainly including operations, technology and product managers
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor degree with relevant techno-functional work experience
- 6+ years of experience in data solutions/analysis with deep domain knowledge of reference data (instruments, accounts, SSIs)
- Strong program/project management skills (roadmaps, budgets, RAID, dependencies, SteerCo reporting)
- Leverage subject matter expertise in driving conversations and/or influencing decisions/direction with Business / stake holders and Technology
- Strong attention to detail and must be able to demonstrate outstanding delivery track record
- Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) & influencing skills
- Ability to support & adapt within a changing environment, in matrix and multi-year type project structures where strong influencing skills are required.
- Ability to keep sight of the overall context and remain centered on the strategic picture
- Highly skilled at problem solving, ability to scope and provide structure to complex issues, rapidly learn unfamiliar processes and provide insightful and timely analytics with attention to detail
Understanding of end to end trade booking models Investment Banking business, functions, processes (e.g. Global Markets, Middle Office, Back Office etc. and knowledge of various Derivatives, Securities, FX products)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities & skills
- Bachelor degree (technology preferred) with relevant techno-functional work experience
- Experience in navigating & using FIISCO – FI Settlement platform & GIM (Global Instrument master)
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products and processes a plus
- Knowledge of industry identifiers and standards (LEI, ISIN) & external reference data providers
