Spatial is looking for a motivated, ambitious, highly driven salesperson to join our team. If you have an entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for surveying, technology, connecting with people and communicating technical information then this may be the position for you. If you know your way around robotic and manual total stations, GNSS and positioning tools and have a passion for geomatics and surveying we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate new business and support a growing user base
- You will be accountable for sales targets and profitability for BC Lower Mainland and Sunshine Coast with potential growth
- Maintain and manage the sales process
- Reporting to management with current sales funnels, forecast and strategies
- Effectively communicate and demonstrate how new technology impacts accuracy, productivity and margins
- Communicate and collaborate with Spatial Technologies technical staff to support Spatial positioning products and related technologies
- Support your clients with a quick response and attention to detail
Required Experiences
- Knowledge of heavy civil and building construction practices and workflows
- Experience in technical sales and business development- preferably within the construction or civil engineering sectors
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decision-makers
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Tech-savvy with a passion for learning and promoting innovative construction technologies
- Skilled negotiator with a collaborative mindset and team spirit
- Self-motivated and autonomous, demonstrating creativity, leadership, and adaptability
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
Preferred Experience
- Geomatics/Civil Engineering diploma
- Experience with surveying equipment like GNSS/Total Stations is considered a strong asset
- Background in construction considered an asset
- Experience and understanding of underground locators and Ground Penetrating Radar.
- Aptitude for computer related technology.
- Must be able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $57,500.00 per year
