The AS&T Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Laboratory team plays an important role in identifying unknown substances and Nitrosamine analysis in active ingredients and finished products to ensure the patient safety.

We are supporting various projects in close collaboration with Sandoz organizations with the aim of serving patients around the world with our products. You will perform different analytical methods with mass-spectrometric to contribute to this purpose. Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for coordination and management of analyses as well as providing scientific analytical support
  • Responsible for qualification of analytical instruments
  • Performance and evaluation of Nitrosamine related methods required for raw materials and finished products using LC-MS/MS
  • Organizing and interpretating all data obtained

What you will bring to the role:

Essential Requirements:

  • College/university degree in the field of chemistry, pharmacy or other natural sciences or completed apprenticeship in science
  • Good technical & scientific knowledge of pharmaceutical/ chemical analytics/QC
  • Self-organized and team player
  • Mass Spectrometry knowledge desirable
  • Knowledge of GxP standards and processes
  • English mandatory
  • Basic knowledge of German (oral and written).

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is EUR 59.781,96/year (on a full-time basis).

In most cases, however, the actual salary will be higher, as we strive to maintain a competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual competencies.
