Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Audio Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in audio-visual technology and be adept at troubleshooting software and hardware issues. This role involves working both in the field and remotely, ensuring that all audio-visual systems function optimally for various events and installations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to ensure seamless operation during events.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their audio-visual needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform installations and repairs according to schematics.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Manage cabling for low voltage systems, ensuring neatness and safety standards are met.
  • Provide field service support during events, addressing any technical issues that arise promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and service reports.

Experience
Candidates should have a solid foundation in the following areas:

  • Proficiency in software troubleshooting related to audio-visual systems.
  • Experience with computer hardware installation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with telecommunication systems is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics effectively.
  • Experience using a voltmeter for testing electrical components.
  • Knowledge of cabling practices for low voltage applications is essential.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
