We are an Australian based manufacturer providing diagnostic solutions into leading pathology laboratories in Australia and worldwide. We are seeking an Australia & Asia Pacific Head of Sales, based in NSW, to develop and lead strategies that bring Genetic Signatures’ transformative molecular diagnostic solutions to existing and future customers.
Reporting to the CEO, our results-driven and customer-focused Head of Sales will be responsible for:
- Achieving or exceeding annual sales revenue targets as per the strategic plan with focus on maintaining Australian sales and further expansion across Australia and Asia Pacific
- Developing & implementing account-based strategies for continued sales revenue growth
- Maintaining and developing customer relationships and customer references (case studies)
- Providing support for the extended international sales effort as required
- Driving and leading participation in conferences within the region
- Developing new KOLs in key markets
- Ensure productive internal key stakeholder engagement to deliver successful outcomes
- Preparation of monthly reports including forecasting of sales revenue
- Continuously review competitor landscape, providing insight to our research and development team to identify new, and shape existing product innovation.
- Ensuring customer interactions are recorded in a timely manner within the CRM
- Leading the sales employees in AU, aligned with our values
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Possess a minimum of 10 years sales experience in the local diagnostic / life sciences marketplace
- Have demonstrated the ability to meet and exceed targets
- Have experience in developing business proposals and successful high-level contract negotiations
- Possess strategic sales planning and execution skills
- Be a superior negotiator, influencer and presenter
- Thrive in relationship building at all levels of an organisation

It’s advantageous if you possess:
- Experience in Management/leadership of teams in Sales, Marketing or technical support
- The ability to present technology within a commercial context and understanding of scientific issues
- Experience working in a molecular diagnostic related field
- Understanding of molecular diagnostics, PCR or scientific principles
- Strong existing relationships with diagnostic testing laboratories
