Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
• Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to carry out repairs effectively
• Sand, paint, and finish vehicle surfaces to meet quality standards
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and quality control procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within designated timeframes

Skills

• Dealership experience or automotive repair background preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
• Ability to interpret repair manuals and technical diagrams
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
• Prior mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory
