Auto Body Repairer

Job Description

We are seeking skilled auto body repairers / panel beaters to join our team in Norway. The right candidate will be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles, ensuring high-quality work, and adhering to vehicle manufacturer requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Repair, perform plastic repairs, panel beating, straightening, replacing, and adjusting body panels, fenders, and other components
  • Use specialized tools and equipment to repair metal and plastic damage, perform structural repairs in jigs involving frames and repairs to the body's load-bearing structure
  • Welding, riveting/bonding
  • Prepare surfaces before painters take over
  • Install and fit body parts such as windshields, doors, and bumpers
  • Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications
  • Collaborate with other auto body repairers, mechanics, and painters
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as an auto body repairer or panel beater
  • Trade certificate or certification in auto body repair and paint or related field
  • Familiarity with repairs on aluminum, steel, and plastic
  • Knowledge of electric vehicles
  • Good English skills (both written and spoken)
  • Eye for detail and quality-oriented
  • Knowledge of various metals and their properties
  • Familiarity with modern vehicle construction techniques
  • Good physical health

  • Experience with European car brands & electric vehicles (e.g., Volvo, Volkswagen, BMW, Tesla)
  • Knowledge of advanced repair techniques for aluminum and composite materials
  • Various joining methods

A 30-minute lunch break is not included in daily working hours. During the probation period, there is a mutual notice period of 14 days. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 20.17kr - 21.98kr per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
