Job Overview

Auto Truck Service Co. is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auto body repair with experience using various techniques and tools necessary to perform high quality repairs. Auto Truck Service Co. utilizes and maintains the latest equipment from Pro-Spot, Miller, GFS and Car-O-Liner. The entire facility is air conditioned providing a comfortable environment year around! Pay will be based on skillset and readiness to work.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs, including collision repair and frame straightening
• Utilize MIG welding techniques for structural repairs and sectioning
• Conduct vehicle repairs ensuring all repairs meet procedural guidelines.
• Perform sheet metal repairs by straightening and use of body filler.
• Perform plastic repairs on bumper covers and rocker moldings
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Remove, install and replace parts by following repair plan.
• Clear communication regarding repair procedures, work stoppage, deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an auto body shop or dealership is preferred.
• Proficiency in mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems.
• Familiarity with welding and sectioning techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 per year
