What You’ll Be Doing:
- Surface Prep: Sanding, masking, and prepping panels for the paint booth.
- Minor Repairs: Handling small dents, scratches, and plastic repairs.
- Welding: Performing structural and non-structural welds (this is a key requirement for us!).
- Assembly: R&I (Remove and Install) of bumpers, trim, and bolt-on panels.
- Support: Assisting our lead bodyman on larger, more complex frame and collision jobs.
What We’re Looking For:
- The Basics: You’ve got some experience in a shop or have completed a collision repair program.
- Welding Skills: You should be comfortable and competent with a welder.
- Eye for Detail: You know that a paint job is only as good as the prep work underneath it.
- Reliability: You show up ready to work and take pride in your tools and your station.
- Growth Mindset: You want to learn the "tricks of the trade" from a master technician.
