Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Auto Tech Teacher to join our high school team, dedicated to inspiring the next generation of automotive professionals. This is a nine (9) month position effective for the 2026-2027 school session. Qualifications for this position are a Bachelor’s Degree and a valid Louisiana Teaching Certificate, or meet CTTIE Certificate eligibility. Duties
- Develop and deliver comprehensive curriculum covering automotive diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and related trades such as HVAC/R, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Utilize industry-standard tools and equipment to provide students with practical experience in areas like mechanical knowledge, aircraft maintenance, HVAC systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations by adhering to OSHA standards and promoting a safe classroom environment.
- Guide students through hands-on projects involving automotive repair,
- Assess student progress regularly through tests, practical demonstrations, and project evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support growth.
- Collaborate with industry partners to align curriculum with current manufacturing, construction, and maintenance industry standards; participate in curriculum development initiatives.

Pay: $49,999.00 - $69,999.00 per year
