Position Overview:
Cooltech Engineers, a leading HVAC solutions provider, is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Designer with a basic understanding of HVAC systems to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing precise and accurate 2D/3D designs for HVAC projects, ensuring that all designs align with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for HVAC systems including ducts, piping, and equipment layouts.
• Collaborate with the project engineers and design team to understand project specifications and requirements.
• Create accurate and efficient designs that optimize system performance and ensure ease of installation.
• Assist in modifying and updating existing drawings as per project revisions or client feedback.
• Interpret and understand architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings to incorporate HVAC components seamlessly.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss design progress and any potential issues.
• Conduct basic load calculations and space assessments based on project needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with engineers and project teams.
• Good understanding of industry standards and local regulations related to HVAC installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Design, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD design, specifically within HVAC or related industries.
