Job Vacancy: AutoCAD Designer – Fire Hydrant System (with Estimation Skills)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD Designer specialized in Fire Fighting Systems (Hydrant & Sprinkler Systems) who can also handle estimation and BOQ preparation. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, system layouts, and cost estimates for projects in Pune and across Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare AutoCAD drawings for Fire Hydrant, Sprinkler, and Detection Systems as per NFPA/TAC/IS standards.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, schematic layouts, and installation details.
• Coordinate with project engineers and site teams for design finalization.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Assist in technical documentation for tenders and client submissions.
• Ensure compliance with local fire authority regulations and NBC/IS standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Fire & Safety Engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).
• 2–5 years of experience in fire hydrant/sprinkler system design.
• Knowledge of IS standards, NFPA codes, and Maharashtra fire norms.
• Strong skills in estimation, costing, and BOQ preparation.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Salary: Negotiable (based on experience)
