- Ensure that the automation machines are operating at prescribed cycle time to meet productive targets
- Ensure the automation machines are producing quality products that meet all specifications
- Document equipment downtime, runtime, throughput etc.
- Verify that product produced matches the current work order.
- Verify that label matches the product being produced.
- Identify improvement opportunities on the auto machines.
- Provide feedback and support to the process tech to make repairs and/or improve machine performance
- Support material handlers/operators on an as needed basis.
- Perform calibration checks according to the quality check schedule
- Inspect finished product to ensure conformity as prescribed by the Quality policy
- Document production reporting accurately and in a timely manner.
- Report to the Production Supervisor any potential problems that could jeopardize existing production plans
- Seek technical support if equipment requires technical attention.
- Perform all assigned tasks in accordance to SCJP Dispensing systems and health and safety policies.
- Perform housekeeping duties regularly to ensure all work areas/cells are clean and tidy.
- Participate in 5S initiatives
- Grade 12 or equivalency gained through alternate education, in combination with related work experience
- 1-+years experience, or previous demonstrated ability to work with a ISO 9001 manufacturing facility
- Full Time
- Work weeks are 5 days, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
- Entitled to 2- 10 minute breaks and 1- 20 minute lunch
- Able to work all shifts as required (Days, Afternoons, Nights, and Continentals)
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Able to work well under pressure
- May be required to work overtime with paid compensation to meet business needs
- Lifting or moving up to 50lbs may be required
- This position may be exposed to elements such as noise, dust, odors and fumes
- Forklift experience (certification in house)
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, procedure manuals and personnel policies
- Mathematical skills
- Mechanical experience in an industrial setting
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications – Excel, Word, and Outlook
- This position is not eligible for remote work
