Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technician with hands-on experience in industrial automation, vision systems, SPM, electrical, and mechanical systems. The role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of automated machinery and production systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Industrial Automation:

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain PLC-based automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to sensors, actuators, drives (VFD/Servo), and controllers.
  • Read and interpret electrical and control schematics.
  • Assist in programming and debugging PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, etc.).

2. Vision Systems:

  • Install and configure industrial vision systems (Cognex, Keyence, etc.).
  • Calibrate lenses, lighting, and image-processing software for quality inspection.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize vision system performance.

3. Special Purpose Machines (SPM):

  • Assemble, install, and commission special purpose machines.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical integration of SPM.
  • Support production trials and provide on-site troubleshooting.

4. Electrical Work:

  • Panel wiring, field wiring, and cable routing as per electrical drawings.
  • Install and maintain industrial electrical components: relays, contactors, switches, transformers, etc.
  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.

5. Mechanical Work:

  • Assemble mechanical parts and subsystems based on CAD drawings.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues in automation equipment (e.g., alignment, wear).
  • Perform basic machining, fitting, and adjustments.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma/ITI in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.
  • 2–7 years of hands-on experience in automation, SPM, and vision systems.

Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge of PLCs and HMI programming (basic level acceptable).
  • Familiarity with industrial safety standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, data entry, reporting)
