Job Title: Automation Test Engineer – CT Medical Imaging Systems (Healthcare)
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (On-site)
Salary: ₹10,00,000 – ₹20,00,000 per year

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join a global healthcare technology program, working on a safety-critical Computed Tomography (CT) medical imaging system. This is an opportunity to apply your automation expertise to embedded subsystems, imaging workflows, and regulatory-compliant validation processes in the medical device industry. Client name is confidential at this stage and will be shared with shortlisted candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and component/test cases in Java and C++ for CT system software, embedded modules, UI, and imaging workflows
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure) and maintain reporting dashboards
  • Create automated test scripts using Python and Selenium
  • Automate HIL/SIL test environments, DICOM workflows, reconstruction validation, and CT scan sequences
  • Contribute to requirements traceability and audit-ready documentation
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to support Verification & Validation (V&V) activities
  • Perform subsystem automation for motion control, detectors, FPGA/embedded boards, RTOS/Linux modules, and communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, UART) — good to have
  • Support compliance with medical standards including IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and FDA 21 CFR 820 — good to have

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Healthcare industry.
  • Experience in test automation for embedded or safety-critical systems
  • Strong programming skills in Java, C++, and Python
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation tools (Selenium/Appium)
  • Working knowledge of DICOM, medical imaging workflows, and V&V processes
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and test management systems
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global, cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CT, MRI, or X-ray systems, or radiology workflows
  • Understanding of CT architecture, reconstruction pipelines, and imaging physics
  • Familiarity with FMEA and risk-based testing methodologies

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
