Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to join our automotive team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with regulations. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in various accounting software. The Controller will play a critical role in budgeting, account reconciliation, and financial analysis to support the company's strategic goals.
Duties
- Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and account reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Oversee the budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and monitoring variances.
- Conduct account analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding financial reporting and tax obligations.
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of all audit requirements.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering professional development and growth.
Skills
- Strong understanding of budgeting processes and financial forecasting techniques.
- Experience with payroll processing and compliance requirements.
- Excellent skills in account analysis, account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable management.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing an accounting team effectively.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
