Automotive Lift / Equipment Service Technician
Company overview:
SERVICETEC is a fast-growing service company that specializes in Automotive Equipement such as Lifts, tire changers, balancers, alignment machines equipment and more.
We are currently searching for a full-time automotive technician that is dedicated, responsible and motivated to join our Gatineau location to service the Gatineau and Ottawa area. We specialize in a wide range of services including installations, Inspections, repairs, maintenance and sales of automotive lifts and other essential automotive workshop equipment, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Some Key Responsibilities:
· Servicing and inspecting a variety of automotive equipment, including lifts, tire changers, balancers, etc.
· Responsible for installing large variety of automotive lifts.
· Proficiently diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
· Ensuring that complete and thorough inspections are performed on all scheduled equipment.
· Being detailed and organized
· Maintaining equipment
· Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner and always assuring client satisfaction by developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients.
· Responsible for installing large variety of automotive lifts.
· Strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
· Preparing, presenting, and maintaining detailed inspections, service reports and work orders.
· Continuous self-improvement through company-sponsored training and certification programs.
Requirements
· Training in mechanical.
· Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and pneumatics
· Physical capability to handle tasks that involve bending, stretching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying items weighing up to 100 pounds.
· Comfortable working in heights
· Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
· Learn and adapt through on-the-job training.
· Strong reliability, determination, and a proactive attitude.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
· Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail in all aspects of the work.
· Great work ethic
· A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
· Be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Schedule:
· 8-hour shift
· Monday to Friday
· Overtime pay when required
· Salary starts at 22.50$ per hour (more depending on experience)
