Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics. This role involves performing repairs and inspections on a variety of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction. Candidates with dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly encouraged to apply. Duties
- Diagnose and repair automotive issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and assembly tasks
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues
- Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures, including heavy lifting and the use of protective gear
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Assist with vehicle assembly or disassembly as needed for complex repairs or upgrades
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
- Ensure work area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Experience
- Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant mechanic experience is essential
- Proficiency in automotive repair techniques and maintenance procedures
- Experience with welding, schematics reading, and the use of various hand and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or parts replacement
- Knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic components
- Strong customer service skills to explain repairs clearly and professionally
- Familiarity with vehicle assembly processes is a plus
- Previous experience working with diagnostic software or troubleshooting automotive issues is advantageous

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
