Automotive Painter

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in auto painting and a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on vehicles. The Painter will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other team members to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare vehicles for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking surfaces.
  • Apply paint using spray guns and other tools to achieve a smooth and even finish.
  • Perform buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of painted surfaces.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist with basic auto body repair tasks as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
  • Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently during the painting process.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in auto painting or related fields such as auto body repair or mechanic work.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required in the painting process.
  • Proficiency with hand tools and painting equipment is essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
  • Previous experience working in a dealership environment is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,400.00 per week
