Job Summary

Brown-Daub Dodge is seeking a motivated and reliable Parts Counter to join our team. This role involves selling automotive parts to customers in person, over the phone, and through the shop, while also handling shipping and delivery responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail and shop customers in selecting required parts in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide price quotes, product information, and suggest companion parts
• Pull and fill orders from stock
• Notify manager of out-of-stock items and place emergency orders if needed
• Track and follow up on backordered and special-order parts
• Maintain inventory and replenish assigned stock daily
• Process payments and issue credits for returned parts
• Organize and maintain records of invoices, repair orders, and estimates
• Prepare orders for shipment, delivery, or pick-up
• Keep counter areas clean and organized
• Participate in lost sales tracking
• Maintain a professional appearance

Qualification

• Experience in an automotive dealership parts department preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable with bending, twisting, standing, walking, and driving for extended periods
• Familiarity with tools required for parts handling and delivery
