We're currently seeking a full-time, dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee the final stages of our vehicle reconditioning process at our Indianapolis and Anderson locations.
Position Summary:
As the Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all reconditioned vehicles meet our high standards before they are placed on the lot for sale. This role involves test driving vehicles, inspecting mechanical and cosmetic quality, and verifying that detailing and cleanup have been completed thoroughly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct test drives to identify any remaining mechanical or performance issues and make recommendations to service managers.
- Perform final inspections of reconditioned vehicles to ensure they meet lot-ready standards.
- Confirm interior and exterior cleanliness and presentation for lot-ready presentation.
- Collaborate with service management to address any issues or improvements needed.
- Maintain records of quality checks and report trends or recurring issues.
- Ensure vehicles meet all safety and regulatory requirements prior to sale.
Requirements:
- Experience in automotive quality control, detailing, or reconditioning.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality and cleanliness.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
