Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the service department team, including technicians and service advisors, to deliver outstanding automotive repairs and customer experiences
• Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of vehicle services
• Manage upselling opportunities by identifying additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety while maintaining transparency with customers
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control procedures, and dealership policies across all service activities
• Handle client communication professionally, providing updates on repair status and explaining technical issues clearly
• Maintain accurate records of cash handling, service writing, work orders, and repair documentation to ensure compliance and accountability

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto service management or dealership service departments with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair processes
• Extensive mechanic experience with knowledge of transmissions, oil changes, suspension systems, tire services, shocks & struts, brake repairs, and collision repair techniques
• Strong understanding of automotive repair procedures combined with excellent mechanical knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to upsell services ethically while prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, technicians, and team members
• Experience in auto service sales, service writing, and client consultation is highly desirable
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to drive company vehicles as needed

Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
