Hyundai Pembroke is looking to recruit a reliable, energetic and capable individual to join our team as a Tire Storage / Wash Bay / Lot Attendant !

As the Wash Bay/Tire/Lot Attendant, you'll be responsible for storing and retrieving customer tires first and foremost as well as ensuring client vehicles are washed and/or cleaned as requested as well as tasks in and around the parts and service departments. These responsibilities are held to our high standard. They all require attention to detail, efficiency and working independently or as part of a team.

Current hours are Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 5:00PM

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the wash bay area in a tidy and organized manner
• Ensure that all equipment and materials are properly stored and secured when not in use
• Operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment to clean vehicles and equipment
• Perform regular maintenance on cleaning equipment to ensure proper and safe operation
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
• Assist in the inspection of vehicles and equipment to identify any damage or maintenance needs
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
• Requirements:
• Physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift tires into the bed of a pick up truck.
• Basic computer skills to track stored tires.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning techniques
• Attention to detail and ability to identify subtle damages or issues with vehicles
• Ability to work in a team environment and take direction from supervisors
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Familiarity with safety protocols and ability to follow proper procedures to avoid accidents or injuries
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers and vacuums, and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
