About the Role

As an Automotive Services Advisor you will ensure the quality automotive service and work across Bridgestone NZ's retail channel by supporting expansion, enforcing compliance and developing automotive staff. This role will be managing the Central North Island region, covering the Hawkes Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui and Wellington areas, as such you must be happy to travel. Responsibilities will also include:

• Supporting the Automotive Services Manager with growing and improving the retail automotive channel
• Establish and drive consistent sales and service performance across stores
• Maintain service and customer care standards by enforcing procedures and conducting store audits
• Ensuring all sites comply with health and safety standards, policies and procedures

Skills and Experience Required:

• A full and clean NZ driver's licence
• A Level 4 Certificate in Automotive, or equivalent, as well as sound technical knowledge, specifically in AVI and strong adherence to NZTA standards
• A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Mechanic, ideally within a leadership or senior position
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• A keen eye for growing revenue streams and improving business strategies and processes
