Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (occasional Saturdays)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join our busy bodyshop in Galway. This is a full-time role with consistent work and an immediate start for the right candidate. Plenty of ongoing work available.

What You Will Do

• Carry out high-quality vehicle paintwork including panels, bumpers, full resprays, blending, and refinishing
• Prepare surfaces by sanding, priming, masking, and ensuring correct preparation before spraying
• Mix and match paint colours accurately
• Spray using modern equipment and techniques
• Complete polishing and finishing as required
• Ensure professional standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Work efficiently with prep technicians and other team members
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as an automotive spray painter is required
• Strong skills in prepping, colour matching, priming, blending, and refinishing
• Ability to work independently and produce clean, high-quality work
• Good English to understand instructions and communicate with the team
• Driving licence preferred but not essential
• References preferred but not essential
• Must have the legal right to work full-time in Ireland
• No visa sponsorship is available for this role
• Student visas with limited hours cannot be accepted
• Foreign applicants will only be considered if they are already in Ireland or arriving immediately with full work permission — no sponsorship of any kind
