Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our busy workshop in Wicklow Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, repair, and diagnostic testing of a wide range of light vehicles. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and fast turnaround times, so we need someone who is efficient and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine vehicle maintenance (oil changes, filters, brakes, etc.) according to manufacturer standards.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
Repair and replace engines, gearboxes, clutches, and timing belts/chains.
Complete all work to a high standard and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
Clearly communicate repair requirements and progress to the Service Manager/Customer.

Requirements:

We are looking for qualified mechanics and 3rd/4th-year apprentices
Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with multibrand scan tools.
Full, clean Irish/EU Driving Licence (essential for road testing).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good English language skills (both verbal and written).
EV/hybrid experience a bonus but not essential
