Aws Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda, ECS, and EKS.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Monitor system performance using CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and network security.
• Optimize cloud costs and improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to support cloud-native applications.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM).
• Knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or GitLab CI.
• Understanding of networking concepts, DNS, load balancing, and security groups.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Proficiency in Git and version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS certifications such as:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
• Experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards.

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architecture using AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of Python, Bash, or Node.js scripting.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with database administration and migration projects.
