De Jong Enterprises is a logistics and trucking company offering a role as Domestic Delivery AZ driver in our Cornwall location located at 3400 Montreal St. If you pride yourself on your customer service skills this opportunity is for you!

As a Domestic Delivery AZ driver you will be delivering product, mainly furniture, to customers in East Coast Canada, Quebec and Ottawa regions.

As the Driver, you will:

• Making deliveries of mostly furniture to our customer’s business
• You will make various pick ups and deliveries in Quebec, NB, NS and PEI.
• Be committed to providing exceptional customer service
• Safely and efficiently performs loading and unloading of furniture
• Safely and efficiently drive the scheduled route, keeping to schedule and while providing exceptional customer service
• Perform all assigned duties with the use of ELD tablets
• Abide by all Federal, Provincial, Municipal and US regulations as it pertains to commercial truck Drivers
• Ability to communicate any issues (mechanical or otherwise) regarding the equipment
• Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections

As a successful candidate you will have the following:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent skills and experience
• Ability to speak French a must
• Able to lift and move heavy objects greater than 100 lbs
• Ability to speak with customers and co-workers at a conversational level
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to change to meet our customer’s needs
• Experience with hand tools an asset
• 1 to 2 years of Driver experience
• Valid Class AZ Driver’s license with clean Driver’s abstract
• Available to work overtime as required and extreme temperatures
