Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers for local deliveries
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies
• Deliver freight to various destinations, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and route records
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries

Experience

• Valid AZ commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in truck driving, especially with delivery routes involving freight handling
• Hands-on experience driving manual transmission trucks and operating different trailer types such as refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, dump truck, or roll-off trucks
• Familiarity with load & unload procedures and safety protocols for freight transportation
• Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts when required
• Knowledge of local traffic regulations and safety standards for commercial drivers
• Prior experience with route driving and delivering freight efficiently in a timely manner

Pay: $21.87-$28.05 per hour
