Grey Goat Hardware is a Canadian supplier of glass and glazing hardware, serving customers in the shower, railing, glazing, architectural hardware, and building products industries.

We are continuing to grow and are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented person to help us identify and connect with potential business customers through professional research, online outreach, and lead generation.

Position Overview

We are looking for a B2B Prospecting Coordinator / Lead Generation Specialist to help us find and connect with qualified business customers in the glass, glazing, shower, railing, construction, and architectural hardware industries.

This is a research, outreach, and lead-generation role. The main focus is finding qualified B2B prospects, engaging with companies online, sending professional direct messages, organizing prospect information, and supporting our sales team with warm-call preparation.

You will use platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, company websites, and industry directories to find and connect with glass shops, glazing contractors, shower door companies, railing installers, storefront contractors, mirror companies, and related businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research glass shops, glazing contractors, shower door companies, railing installers, mirror companies, storefront contractors, and related businesses
  • Identify company names, locations, websites, social media profiles, phone numbers, emails, and key contacts when available
  • Engage with relevant businesses on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn by liking posts, following pages, and interacting in a professional way
  • Send clear, concise, and professional direct messages introducing our company
  • Track outreach activity, responses, and prospect details in a spreadsheet or CRM
  • Build warm-call lists for the sales team based on researched B2B prospects
  • Monitor replies and flag interested prospects for follow-up
  • Keep outreach organized, consistent, and respectful of platform rules
  • Help test and improve outreach messaging based on prospect responses
  • Maintain a professional tone that reflects our company brand

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is organized, consistent, comfortable online, and able to communicate professionally with business owners, contractors, installers, and industry professionals.

This role requires someone who can stay focused on repetitive but important prospecting work while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and good judgment.

Qualifications

  • Strong written English communication skills
  • Comfortable using Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google, and company websites for research
  • Ability to write short, professional, and friendly business messages
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organization and data-entry skills
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets or CRM systems
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Professional judgment when communicating with businesses online
  • Previous experience in sales support, lead generation, prospecting, social media outreach, customer service, or B2B research is an asset

Industry Experience

Experience in the glass, glazing, construction, architectural hardware, shower door, railing, or building products industry is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Compensation

  • $21.00 per hour
  • Full-time position
  • Based out of our Toronto office
