Happy Cubs is the home of Swim Cubs and Music Cubs classes.

We're now looking to hire and train swimming teachers to teach classes at our Kilmainham facility.

This is the perfect role for someone who would love to be at home with their little ones midweek and have a fun rewarding part-time job at weekends.

Details:

Weekend hours: 11.45am-2.15pm Sunday afternoon

Where: Hilton Hotel Kilmainham

Must be available for teacher training: Sept 2026- Oct 2026

Rate of Pay: €28.00 per hour starting rate

Total hours per week: 2.5 hours (with the possibility of more)

About the role: Teach water confidence, water safety, swim skills and potentially lifesaving skills to our Baby Cubs, Toddler Cubs and Big Cubs aged between 2 mths to 5 yrs old, and children aged 5 - 10 years old.

We’re looking for an outgoing person who is reliable and has a great work ethic. You need to be a positive, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children.

No teaching experience necessary:

You don't need a swimming or teaching background to be a great swimming teacher. We provide for the right person. We'll help the right person achieve their qualifications. Good English and communication skills, essential. Drivers licence and car, essential.
