Backup Engineer / Backup Operator (m/w/d) - Alicante / remote

Your future adventures

• Planning, design and implementation of complex backup solutions for our SME and enterprise customers

• Pre-sales, support and consulting for our customers and further development of their backup infrastructure

• Technical support for our sales team in the development of backup projects for our customers

• Reactive and proactive troubleshooting using monitoring tools

• Support with migrations and expansion of the existing system landscape

  Processing incidents and changes and working closely with other teams

Your skills and experiences

• A degree or comparable qualification plus several years of good knowledge of backup solutions from:

  • Veeam

  • Commvault

  • Veritas NetBacku

  • Microsoft Azure Backup

• Relevant experience with tape libraries, immutable backups, disaster recovery strategies, cross-hypervisor migration, etc.

• Ideally basic knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), storage (Synology, QNAP), Microsoft Azure

• Very good knowledge of English and good knowledge of German to work in international projects and teams

• Open-mindedness and ability to work in a team as well as a structured and proactive way of working
